Shop time sheets require accurate coding to jobs for various purposes:

  1. Building Inventory (Job 30-00-0080)
  2. Formworks (Job 30-00-3091 plus Extra for Form Size)
  3. Building Woodshop and Steel components to Jobs

hh2 timesheets have seven primary features:

  1. View - Timesheets can be displayed in either a Daily or Weekly view.  For the shop employees coding hand-written paper time sheets, the weekly view is most useful.

  2. Payroll Group and Employee - Select the appropriate Payroll Group (Wood or Steel) and the desired Employee.

  3. Pay Period - can be used to change the pay period displayed.  You can also change the pay period by pressing the arrows to the left and right of the dates displayed

  4. Pay Type Group - used to switch between Hours, Bereavement-Jury Duty, and Sick-Vacation-Holiday entry

  5. Time Entry - cells used to enter hours worked for each row, including "Default Coding" (home department hours), and GL Account (non-home department) time.  Time is entered separately for each and day/code.

  6. Add Jobs/Codes button - select to add additional GL Accounts to your time sheet (if necessary), as well as Jobs and cost codes.

  7. Timesheet Summary - Summarizes total hours for all categories (HRS, HOL, VAC, SICK) for each day, and for the Pay Period totals in the lower right-hand corner.

To add Bereavement and Jury Duty hours, switch to the Pay Type Group "BRVMT AND JURY DUTY".  Hours claimed for non-work (i.e. Sick, Bereavement, etc.) chould ALWAYS be entered on the default row.

To add Sick, Vacation and Holiday hours, switch to the Pay Type Group "SIC/VAC/HOL".  Hours claimed for non-work (i.e. Sick, Bereavement, etc.) chould ALWAYS be entered on the default row.
