Resolution scaling is used by Windows to make screen items such as fonts on text boxes and labels easier to see. The Sage 300 application cannot properly handle display resolution scaling within Windows. Display resolution scaling set to a value other than 100% will cause Sage to display fields and forms using small fonts.

This issue may be corrected by setting the primary display in your local system (not on Remote Desktop) set to 100% scaling. This setting will be transferred to Remote Desktop applications when a session is opened.

  1. Log off of any Remote Desktop sessions.  Be sure to use the log-off feature rather than disconnecting from the session. Closing the session only, without logging off, will suspend the session and new display resolution settings will not take effect.

Contact the service desk to terminate your session if you are unable to perform a log off.

  2. Right click on your windows desktop and choose Display settings from the context menu.

  3. Select one of the external displays which has scaling set as 100%.

  4. Mark the selected display as your Main display.

  5. Launch Sage300 from the Remote Desktop app. The fonts and display items and fonts should now be the correct size. Contact the service desk for additional support if the issue is not resolved.
