Individual files may be marked of offline use from within the Microsoft 365 mobile app.

NOTE: Unlike the OneDrive app, files marked for offline use in the Microsoft 365 app are available in READ / WRITE mode and can be edited.

  1. Open the Microsoft 365 app and navigate to the file you would like to mark for offline use.

  2. Tap on the three dots icon of the file. You can do this from several different screens.

  3. Move the Make Available Offline slider to the right in order to mark the file for offline use.

  4. The file will be marked for offline use and you will be able to open, view, and edit the document. Any changes made to the file will upload to cloud once internet connectivity is restored.
