Enabling Access
- Assign an appropriate D365 license to the user in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or by adding the user to the appropriate License Group in AD / EntraID.
- Once the license is assigned, the user will appear in the environment but will still need to be assigned a security role. You can assign the role by navigating to the appropriate page (https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/settingredirect/0f5b7dea-cc67-f011-8ee5-002248257b1e/a1a98fce-5e42-ed0c-a2fe-b78ebd733717/users) and searching for the user.
- Once the user is found select the user to assign the appropriate security roles by clicking Manage Roles to open the selection screen.

- Once the user is assigned a role, the user is now set up and should be enabled by default.
Enabling Outlook Integration
Note: You must have the Exchange Admin role to perform the above operations
- Assign the user the Dynamics 365 App For Outlook User role
- Navigate to the advanced settings are and go to the email configuration section. Select mailboxes to open up the list of mailboxes in the system.

- Using the all mailboxes view, search for the users mailbox.
- Select the mailbox and using the ribbon "Approve" the mailbox. After the Mailbox has been approved select test and enable mailbox. This will set up server-side sync for their exchange mailbox and allow them to utilize the Outlook app for D365
